I'm writing to share our first Ka ʻOno o ke Kole Graduate Hangout on Friday, 2/28/25, 4-6p, at Bale/Hemenway Courtyard. We will have food to share, but need you to come and share your "kole" (your "stories"!!). I have attached a flyer and hope you can make it.
Ka ʻOno o ke Kole: I thought it might be good to share information on the idea of "Ka ʻOno o ke Kole" and what is the inspiration behind the naming of our monthly gatherings. The source of this name comes from ʻAnakala Eddie Kaʻanana, who was a mānaleo/native speaker and who used to work in Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language (back in the day before he went to work at Ānuenue).
